• Alison's Favorite Sounds v 1.1 - A collection of my favorite sounds for GPL's engines, and revised skid and grass sounds as well. My original Favorite Sounds are still available too. 972 kb.
• PBFVue - A utility by Eric Kundle which allows you to quickly view, crop, and convert the PBF files produced by GPL when you take a screen shot. Converts the image to JPEG, pcx, bmp, Tiff, etc. 416 kb.
• RpyVer - Randy Cassidy's Replay Version display utility. Allows you to determine if a replay was made on GPL 1.0/1.1 (GPL 1.1 had an unreliable clock) or GPL 1.2, which has a reliable clock. 18 kb.
• WingMan Profiles - Profiles which define macros for shifted buttons on the Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel. You can use these with GPL and VROC to generate character strings by pushing two buttons. See my Force Feedback page for details. 2 kb.
• Add-Ons - A selection of my favorite add-ons available from assorted sites. Includes improved engine sounds, graphic upgrades, and utilities.
• AI Tweaks - Tweaked driver.ini files which will allow you to better control the speed of the AI relative to your own. See the notes in the zip file and also at the head of the tweaked files. 13 kb.

• Core.ini - A core.ini file you can use to assist in setting up online races. 5 kb.
• Player images - images which you can use to over-ride the default images used by GPL for photos of you and other players. You can see an example of a customized photo the newspaper to the right (yeah, that's me), and a customized Player Info menu on my Driving page. You can use your own images; there are details in the readme file inside the zip archive. 20 kb.

For the Hardcore

The following downloads were donated by Papyrus for the use of hardcore technical types who would like to experiment with finding ways to automate the establishment of connections between GPL client and server.

These programs are provided on an as-is basis and are not supported by either me or Papyrus! You're on your own. However, if you have some success, please let me know.

• gplicq - A program intended for use with ICQ. When ICQ is properly configured, this program will launch GPL on both client and server. It works with one client. However, in its current form, if a second client joins, I believe ICQ generates a popup which hangs both the client and server. I am making this available in case someone would like to try to figure out a workaround for this problem. C source is included.
• gplping - A command-line program which you can use to retrieve status information from a GPL server running on another machine. C source is included.
